WHAT HAPPENS IF WE TEST POSITIVE?

You should always check the latest advice from the UK Government website. Government advice around the need to isolate has changed frequently since Covid-19 entered our lives, so always check the latest news before making any decisions. If do you need to cancel, ourย standard terms and conditionsย will apply.

  1. INSURANCEโ€‹

Comprehensive insurance is provided for one driver, for the duration of the hire period, for travel within the UK. Drivers must be aged 23 to 75 with 2 years UK/EU licence (other licence holders and ages groups can be considered on referral). Additional drivers can be added at an extra cost of ยฃ50 per hire. Two, 3 point convictions are acceptable (i.e. 2x Sp30โ€™s, 3pts each) without referral. Any single conviction totalling 6 points+ will require referral. No more than one fault or outstanding accident/claim/incident in the last 3 years Travel outside of the UK is not permitted. Motorhomes must stay at a registered campsite. It is not permitted to stay overnight on private land or laybys. There is a ยฃ1000 excess which must be paid by the hirer following any incident, where an insurance claim is made.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

Copy of the photocard driversโ€™ licence (Address & ID must be up to date) Online licence check will be carried out prior to rental. Two forms of proof of address (Must meet all mentioned criteria below) - You must provide the following: -

โ€ข utility bill/statement (primary form of proof)

โ€ข of the documents listed below (secondary proof)

Key document criteria: -

โ€ข Both must be dated within 90 days of the hire date

โ€ข The address & name on your licence must match both documents

What is acceptable:-

โ€ข Utilities are as follows: Electricity, Water, Gas, Broadband, Council tax, Landline

1 of the following alongside a utility:- โ€ข TV/internet/landline telephone bill (Including Sky/Virgin/BT etc.) โ€ข Bank or Credit Statement โ€ข Credit card bill/statement โ€ข Mortgage/pension statement HMRC & DWP documentation is acceptable in addition to one valid utility bill/utility statement Any document that does not meet the above-mentioned criteria โ€“ please contact us if you are unsure. Cleared and traceable security deposit of ยฃ1000 (Credit/Debit Card, Bank Transfer). Signed and dated rental agreement featuring all drivers wishing to drive the vehicle.

  1. BOOKING PROCEDURE & PAYMENT

โ€‹ A ยฃ250 deposit (per weekly hire) is required to confirm the booking. This will be non-refundable. The balance is due ten weeks before departure.

A bond is due to be paid on collection of the motorhome. This is held until the motorhome has been returned and inspected. The bond is refunded within a week, after the return of the motorhome, if no damage has been caused to the motorhome. The bond is ยฃ1000 regardless of the period of hire.

We shall not hire any motorhomes on any other terms and conditions. These terms and conditions become binding at the time of booking. Providing that these terms and conditions have been made available to you, through the booking process, they are binding on you, whether or not they have been signed by you. Payment is by Debit, or Credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer.

  1. CANCELLATION CHARGESโ€‹

More than 6 weeks before: 25% of the total hire cost or booking deposit (whichever is greater) 6 weeks to 4 weeks: 50% of the hire cost 4 weeks to no show: 100% of the hire cost We reserve the right to amend our cancellation policy for certain events.

  1. MOTORHOME COLLECTIONโ€‹

Collection time is from 3pm, to 4pm, on the day of handover. You are advised to check the vehicle thoroughly, and ensure that you understand how to drive and operate it, before leaving our premises. A guided tour including thorough demonstrations on how to use all associated facilities of the motorhome will be carried out before leaving the compound.

  1. VEHICLE RETURNS

โ€‹All motorhomes must be returned between 10am - 11am on the day of return. Late returns have a significant impact on the next hire. All vehicles must be returned to the original pick up point on the final day of your period of hire. If you fail to meet the return time, you will be liable to an extra charge of ยฃ50 per hour. The insurance provided ends at 11am on the final day of the hire period. Failure to return, before 11am, will render the insurance expired and any incident will constitute an offence, as the driver will be driving whilst uninsured. Upon returning the motorhome, We shall check the vehicle for damage, cleanliness and that it is returned in the same condition as the motorhome was at the start of the hire period. (Clean interior, Toilet emptied, Fuel tank full). Failure to return the motorhome in the same condition, will result in all, or part of your security bond being retained by . We reserve the right to deduct any amount which we determine to be due to us from the security deposit and our opinion as to what is due is binding except in the case of manifest error. Damaged wing mirrors will be charged at ยฃ250 for a full replacement. All other motorhome repairs and cleaning costs are avaible on request.

  1. BREAKDOWN AND ACCIDENTS

The motorhomes are maintained in accordance with the manufacturerโ€™s instructions. Full roadside assistance is provided in the UK. If an incident occurs, contact the owners on 07979 243853, following the instructions provided to you at handover.

In the event of an accident, the safety of the hirer and their party is paramount. Emergency services should be called first, if necessary and the accident dealt with in the necessary manner. Only after everyone involved in the accident is safe should the hirer contact owners as per the instructions provided at the point of handover. Regardless of how minor the incident, the full details of anyone involved must be noted down in the accident report form, which is kept in the vehicle. This is the responsibility of the hirer. You are provided with a first aid kit, a fire extinguisher and a fire blanket. Please do inform us of any use of any of these items so that we can replace them. We request all hirers have their own personal travel insurance.

  1. PETS

Up to two small dogs are permitted (at the owners discretion) in the motorhome at any time. Dogs are not permitted on the furniture and any and all evidence of dogs being present in the motorhome must be removed prior to returning the motorhome. We reserve the right to deduct any amount which is determined to be due to us, from the security deposit, to allow for additional cleaning, or damage caused by pets.

  1. SEATBELTS

Our motorhomes are fitted with three point seatbelts. These are to be worn at all times when the vehicle is in motion and/or on public roads. Appropriate car seats must be used for children in accordance with the law. It is the responsibility of the hirer to fit any car seats themselves. We take no responsibility for any ill fitted child restraints or seat belts not being worn.

  1. CAMPSITE BOOKINGS

It is the responsibility of the hirer to pre-book and confirm all sites they intend to stay at during the holiday. We take no responsibility for any bookings or cancellations at caravan and camp sites.

  1. FUEL, OIL, GAS AND OTHER CONSUMABLES

The motorhome is supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be returned in the same manner. If the fuel tank is not showing as full then it will be refuelled and the cost of the fuel, plus a ยฃ50 admin fee will be charged. Gas cylinder will be supplied with the motorhome. If additional gas is required this is the responsibility of the hirer. In any event the gas cylinder(s) must be returned with the motorhome. Failure to do so will result in the cost of the replacement cylinder, plus a ยฃ20 admin fee.

  1. MILEAGE

Unlimited mileage in the UK ONLY.

1๏ปฟ000 miles per week in the EU. Any additional mileage will be charged at ยฃ0.30 per mile.

  1. EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROLโ€‹

Unfortunately, events beyond our control occasionally affect bookings. When reference is made to such events in these Terms and Conditions of Hire, this means any events(s) or circumstances(s) which we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. We cannot accept responsibility, or pay compensation, costs or expenses where the performance of your contract with us is prevented, or affected or you otherwise suffer any loss or damage as a result of events beyond our control. This includes any delays to and/or restrictions to your hire to which you may be subject. However if your booking has to be cancelled as a result, we will refund as described above. The offer of an alternative vehicle or refund shall be an exclusive remedy in respond of any loss, costs, or expenses caused by the events beyond our control.

  1. SUITABLE PERSONSโ€‹

We have the right to refuse to hand over a vehicle to any person who, in our reasonable opinion, is not suitable to take charge. In such cases, no refund of the hire charge will be made by us who will have no further liability.

  1. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  2. You are responsible for the security of the vehicle at all times during the hire period. You must not drive the vehicle โ€˜Off Roadโ€™ other than for reasonable access to a campsite. Should you become stuck at any time while โ€˜Off Roadโ€™ you will be responsible for any recovery costs. The breakdown cover is for roadside assistance only.
  3. You are responsible for all fines and other legal charges, including but not limited to parking fines, speeding fines, the full cost of any fees associated with the vehicle being impounded and any on the spot fines. Such fines & charges may incur a ยฃ25 administration fee by us.
  4. You are responsible for all the keys that belong to the vehicle. Lost keys are expensive and are not included as part of the breakdown service. You will be responsible for the full cost of the replacement keys and replacement locks if required. You will also be liable for the full cost of repairing any damage caused by forced entry of the vehicle.
  5. You must not sell, rent, lend or dispose of the vehicle or any of its parts, you must not give anyone legal rights over the vehicle. The vehicle remains the property of us at all times.
  6. At the time of handover the vehicle will be documented to be in a roadworthy condition. You must maintain the vehicle in a roadworthy condition at all times. You must report any fault in or on the vehicle as soon as possible to us, allowing us reasonable time to locate parts and make any necessary repairs.
  7. You must make sure that you use the correct fuel. Using the wrong fuel is not covered by the breakdown service and you will be liable for the full cost of any remedial repairs required as a result of using the wrong fuel.
  8. The hirer shall be responsible for all OVERHEAD DAMAGE resulting from any accident โ€“ overhead damage is defined from the ground to in excess of 4metres or 11โ€™3โ€ off the ground. Damage to the WINDSCREEN, TYRES & PUNCTURES are the responsibility of the hirer. You are required to check the condition of the tyres & engine fluid levels on a daily basis whilst you have the motorhome on hire.
  9. Before you vacate the vehicle you must check that you have not left any personal belongings in the vehicle.
  10. EXTRA CHARGES

Toilet cassette not empty ยฃ50. Any cooking appliances or equipment found to be unclean ยฃ20. Fuel tanked unfilled โ€“ ยฃ50 plus costs of fuel. Valet penalty if returned in unsuitable condition ยฃ150. Speeding the vehicle is fitted with a GPS tracking alert that will notify any speeds over the speed limit. The vehicle is not designed to exceed 70mph for passenger & vehicle safety, each alert could incur a fine of ยฃ75.

  1. GDPR/DATA PROTECTION

โ€‹For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1984, We or any subsidiary thereof may hold and process by computer or otherwise the information given to or obtained by it. Our GDP policy states that we retain certain personal documentation for a period of no more than 12 months. After this time all personal documentation is destroyed in line with the GDPR policy.   1. GOVERNING LAWโ€‹

This agreement is subject to the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes not resolved by mutual agreement may only be settled in the courts of this jurisdiction.

  1. SEVERANCEโ€‹

If any provision or part-provision of this agreement is or becomes invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted. Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this clause shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of this agreement.

  1. ENTIRE AGREEMENTโ€‹

The parties agree that the agreement constitutes the entire agreement between them, and supersedes all previous drafts, agreements, arrangements and understandings between them, whether oral or written.
